Manufacturing
In Cadbury we work together to create brands people love, with household brands such as Cadbury Dairy Milk (which is now fairtrade by the way!), Green and Black's, Roses and Jelly Babies. You will contribute to this by positively influencing the technical efficiency of a plant-based engineering team in one our UK manufacturing sites at Bournville, Chirk, Marlbrook and Sheffield.
-
It all starts in Chirk, North Wales, where cocoa beans delivered from Ghana are cleaned, roasted and processed to produce cocoa mass.
-
The Marlbrook site is our chocolate crumb feedstock factory based in Herefordshire. Here we produce chocolate crumb made from fresh milk, skimmed milk, sugar and cocoa liquor which has come from Chirk.
-
Onto Bournville, our famous chocolate making plant, where every twenty four hours the site produces 1.2 million Creme Eggs, 5.5 million moulded bars, 10 million assortment units and 17 million Buttons.
-
In Sheffield, our gum and candy factory produces brands including Maynards (Wine Gums), Bassetts (Liquorice Allsorts, Red Liquorice Allsorts and Jelly Babies), Trebor (Extra Strong and Softmints) and The Natural Confectionery Company range.
Roles available on these sites include Engineering Managers, Manufacturing Team Leaders, Manufacturing Managers and Process Engineers.
