Science Labour Survey
Every Autumn, SRG undertakes an industry-wide survey into the state of the UK Science Labour Market. More than 500 UK organisations complete the survey, all of them contacts responsible for recruitment from a broad range of industries including Food, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Defence, Biotechnology and Healthcare companies, research institutes and government departments.
In 2006 and 2007, the survey contained six questions. The first four concentrated on what the trends had been over the previous 12 months, while the final two questions looked to the future and the forthcoming 12 months.
For 2008 we added questions to find out the industry and UK region that the respondent was from so that more accurate and specific conclusions could be drawn.
