Eligible to Work in the UK
You will be eligible to work in the UK if you are a National of the following countries:

* These countries are in the EEA, but are not members of the European Union. ** Switzerland is not in the EEA, but an international treaty means that from 1 June 2002 Swiss nationals have a similar right to live in the UK as EEA nationals. |
Nationals from the following new member states; Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic who find a job in the United Kingdom are required to apply to register with the Home Office under the new 'Worker Registration Scheme' as soon as they find work.
Individuals from countries outside the European Economic Area must be in possession of a work permit to allow them to take up employment. Please visit the Goverment's Information about visas. website
Non-EEA students who have successfully completed and obtained a degree, Master’s degree, PhD, or postgraduate certificate or diploma on or after 1 May 2007 can take advantage of the IGS scheme for graduates to work in the UK for up to 12 months upon completion of their studies.
