We have 5 immediate vacancies working for one of the largest Vaccine manufacturers in the UK!
Reporting to the Team Managers (Micro/QC/QA), the role holder will responsible for the provision of effective on the job training, coaching and assessment of competence within the area that they are employed, using the company training standards process and documentation. The role holder will also have responsibilities for site training as well as the department training.
You will identify individual training needs and define training requirements for individuals in the area and will organise their own workload on a day to day basis and is expected to plan the training activities for their team in conjunction with production or testing schedules. You will need to have a critical relationship with the site Training Team and will work closely together across all aspects of the training cycle. There is a high requirement for internal communication, both written and oral.
You will be required to identify training needs, develop training programmes, design courses and actively develop teamwork within their own operational area and across other operational and functional areas, thereby continually improving internal customer/supplier relationships.
Provide guidance and developmental support and help co-ordinate the activities for the Senior Associate Work Based Trainers working within the teams. This will include internally verifying and signing off NVQ assessments as appropriate.
A major element of the role is to assist in leading and motivating the team in pursuit of the company objectives through the development of appropriate training programmes. This will involve the role holder ensuring that people remain focused on the priorities and targets they have to achieve, with specific emphasis on training compliance and development activities - this will involve recorded and measured follow up.
Qualifications:
You will have the A1 (D32/D33) assessor qualification and the full Learning & Development NVQ at Level 3. Educated to A level standard or equivalent (eg NVQ 3) and have proven experience working in a pharmaceutical/chemical environment at a supervisory level or in a senior training advisory capacity. Development and assessment of occupational competence will be through the further completion of NVQ level 3 in Technical Support, LATA or Management level 3. This reflects the complex nature of the responsibilities required for the role. Ideally you will also have (or be working towards) the Internal Verifier qualification.
