Profile:
To provide plant expertise during the introduction of new products into the ABC 5000 facility.
To play a key role in the execution of qualification protocols and commissioning of new and modified equipment. For large projects this may involve responsibility for sub-plans of grouped tasks or process systems.
To retain expertise in the operation of key process equipment and act as the custodian for the policies and procedures associated with that equipment. To prepare documentation such as PBR / RECs, CBRs, CRs and SOPs for new processes and equipment. To prepare and deliver best practice training packages for new processes and equipment.
You will be accountable for ensuring that sub-plans and assigned tasks required for the introduction of new product are completed.
During the production campaign, you will be involved in the manufacture of the new product and will work alongside the shift team to deliver the product in a compliant manner.
To engage in laboratory scale process development and scale up activities during the early phases of technical transfer.
To engage in technical oversight of plant activities during manufacturing campaigns.
The job holder will be required to work in a cGMP environment and comply with appropriate regulatory standards.
The job holder requires an honours degree or higher qualification in a science or technology discipline and a proven experience in the areas of project definition, plant design, commissioning, and manufacturing support or a lower qualification with much greater experience to enter this role.
