Profile:
Are you a driven research scientist from a protein / physical chemisty or DNA handling background? Do you have proven experience managing industrial reserach projects? Can you demonstrate the ability to manage a research team, ensuring that it performs to the best of its ability?
The rapid growth of our clients research projects have created vacancies for two experienced Biochemists to join as Project Supervisors. The role will involve managing a team of 5-6 scientists, ensuring that the team is clear in its objectives and that results are communicated effectively to the senior management team. Ideal candidates should be:
· Postdoctoral scientists (or equivalent research experience), ideally with exposure to industrial science
· Technically excellent, with proven experience in the areas of DNA handling, protein biochemistry and/or physical chemistry
· Proven experience in a supervisory capacity, with a track record of motivating a team to drive a research project forward
· Excellent communication skills; be confident articulating technical concepts and results to senior management
