SRG wins significant Reckitt Benckiser temp recruitment contract

From 2^nd November 2009 SRG, the UK’s leading scientific and technical recruitment company, are implementing a Managed Service Programme for Reckitt Benckiser, the world leading provider of household, health and personal care, at their R&D site in Hull.

Employing around 800 staff, the Hull site is home to Reckitt Benckiser’s largest R&D facility, including the company’s global R&D centre of excellence for health and personal care, which brings together leading edge innovation on a number of the biggest selling products. In addition Hull is one of the company’s main healthcare product manufacturing operations, exporting to many countries around the world and is also home to its ‘blue sky’ New Technology group who are committed to researching and developing longer term new products that maintain the company’s market leadership.

SRG are delighted to be working with Reckitt Benckiser on this significant project and were chosen for their proven track record in providing both managed service programmes and scientific staff to the broad based science community. The implementation of this proven model will ensure Reckitt Benckiser gain:

• Increased control, visibility and effective management of their temporary workforce
• A reduction in liability and assurance of legal and regulatory compliance associated with engaging temporary workers
• Improved efficiency of their hiring process; through a single point of contact, consolidation of invoices & an online recruitment tool
• Improved quality of service and candidates through agreed KPIs and performance metrics
• A more cost effective option which will generate £145K savings per annum
