Support to GSK's Positive Action Programme

Thu 28 Feb 2008

SRG’s 2007 online Christmas card project has raised £500 for GlaxoSmithKline’s Positive Action programme, working with communities affected by HIV and AIDS. The cheque was presented to AMREF, an organisation GSK partner with in Africa at a presentation at GSK House on 25th February 2008.

SRG’s online Christmas card project was a corporate decision, not only to be more supportive to the environment by avoiding the printing of thousands of cards, but also to raise money for charity. This promotion was a huge success and the result is that a number of worthwhile charities will be receiving donations.

SRG’s donation to AMREF will be put towards achieving better health in Africa by supporting the development of stronger African health systems.
